Tomorrow, Tuesday 19 November, the diocesan enquiry on the "life, virtues, reputation for holiness and signs" of the Servant of God Adeodatus of St Peter, professed priest of the Order of the Discalced Friars of Mount Carmel, will be presented to the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 19 November, the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints will open the diocesan enquiry into the "life, virtues, reputation for holiness and signs" of the Servant of God Pura Rosa del Carmen (née Secundina Guadalupe Olmos, 1896-1965), a professed religious of the Congregation of the Carmelite Sisters of Saint Teresa of Jesus (Argentina).
Antonino Cottone, a reliquary by profession, participated in the ‘Di Buon Mattino’ programme, making relics of the Order.
These liturgical texts and the possibility of celebrating Blessed Anne of Jesus are reserved exclusively for the houses of the Order of Discalced Carmelites and the Diocese of Malines-Brussels (Belgium), because the cult of the Blessed is geographically limited.
On Monday 21 October, in Rome, took place the canonical translation of the mortal remains of the Venerable Chiara Maria della Passione (Giovanna Vittoria Colonna Tomacelli), professed OCD nun, from the former Regina Cœli Monastery, Via Monte Carmelo 7, to the Basilica of St. Teresa, Corso d'Italia 36. Her mortal remains now lie between the tombs of two Discalced Carmelite Cardinals, Adeodato Piazza and Raffele Rossi, on the left side of the choir loft of the Basilica.
On Sunday, 20 October, at the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of Neyyatinkarao (India), the final session of the Diocesan Inquiry on the ‘life, virtues, fame of holiness and signs’ of the Servant of God Adeodatus of St. Peter, professed priest of the Order of the Discalced Friars of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel will be held.
